| Description: | Fans of Old Time music will have many reasons to rejoice when they come to Cloverdale this year. Weve added three new contest divisions and a band scramble, plus the entertainment is some of the best weve ever had. And as always, there will be rousing jamming sessions, plus wonderful handmade crafts and tasty food available for sale. The Cloverdale Old Time Fiddle Festival is known for its friendly competition and good old-fashioned fun. But even more important than a good time or raising funds for our local museum is the Societys continuing purpose to help preserve the historic fiddling culture and tunes, to help develop audience appreciation and understanding, and to acknowledge todays musicians who are carrying on this traditional music genre. We hope you will join us in celebration of the old tunes. | |
