| Description: | The 37th Annual Ramona Country Fair. This one of the last traditonal country fairs in Southern California. Features great entertainment (live bands), first ever Ramona Idol Contest, over 100 food, commercial and craft vendors. Carnival rides for everyone, a beer and wine garden featuring local Ramona Wineries and Stone Brewery Company. Children and adult contests such as an egg tossing contest, watermelon eating contest, three legged racing and sack racing. This is sure to be the biggest country fair ever. The location is a the Ramona Outdoor Community Center (fair grounds on 421 Aqua Lane in Ramona). Ramona is only 35 miles from downtown San Diego, and is surrounded by El Cajon, Lakeside, Poway, Escondido, San Marcos, Oceanside, Fallbrook and Julian. | |
