National College Resources Foundation hosts events throughout the year to help curtail the high school dropout rate, increase enrollment to college and vocational opportunities, and to connect students to college. The Black College Expo brings HBCUs and other colleges and universities to major venues across the country providing high school and college students with a unique educational and entertaining experience during which many students from high school and transferring college students are admitted to colleges on the spot. Many of these colleges provide scholarships on the spot, in some cases valued up to over $100,000. There is also a Career Recruitment Pavilion, featuring top companies looking to recruit college-bound students. The Career, Internship & Vocational Expo is an opportunity for students to connect one-on-one with employers/corporations who have available internships and careers which offers life skills and work experience in their field to each student so that can be employable in this diverse and complex world. We also give away scholarships, at times on the spot, to students to help them in the quest to finish college. During the tour we directly engage over 100,000 diverse high school and college students and their parents to help them navigate the college admission process.

Our events are always fun and exciting throughout the day. Students and their parents have a chance to engage in seminars like "How to Find Money for College, "Hot Careers", "Why Attend an HBCU", "Student Athlete" and more. Our "After Show" at the Black College Expo includes a Scholarship Presentation, a KFC Step Show, featuring high school and Greek step teams, a Dance Competition, at times, surprise celebrity guests and musical performances.
