Best of the Valley Quilt Show

It's once again time to mark your calendars, for our upcoming quilt show. The dates are April 4, 5, 6, 2014. Can you believe this is our 19th show? In addition to the usual wonders, this year we have something truly special planned.

We are issuing a Challenge to residents of "The Valley" (residents of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, and Tulare Counties) to create a quilt illustrating what the phrase "The Best of the Valley" means to them. There will be ribbons and premiums awarded, selected via Viewer's Choice voting.

This is in addition to our popularViewer's Choice voting for the winners of the "Quilts made by Quilters under 18," and "Quilts made by Quilters 80 and older" categories, as well as Viewer's Choice, Overall. Although we are both a judged and juried show, we also highly value viewer participation.

This year's Featured Artist is Sara Kelly. Her work is unique, evoking immediate response from the viewer.

Of course we will have our wonderful vendor mall, special exhibits, an expanded doll exhibit, on-site food, the quilt shuttle, and more.
