Parade and 5K & 1 Mile Run & Walk There's nothing like Saturday mornings in summertime. Spending time enjoying the beginning of the weekend with the family can't be beat. On the morning of Saturday, August 2, our neighbors and friends will visit Downtown Ventura to enjoy the colorful fun of the Annual Ventura County Fair Parade. With High School Marching Bands, Classic Cars, Horses, Clowns, Politicians, School Groups, Dancers and more the parade is a summertime tradition and will become a memory you will cherish. Before the parade begins, spectators will enjoy watching the zany entries that compete in the annual Ventura County Fair Costume 5K & 1-Mile Run & Walk. Runners and walkers clad in "A Country Fair with Ocean Air" themed costumes will race down Main Street to the delight of the early morning crowds.

Visit the farm animals in the Livestock Center The Ventura County Fair Livestock area houses all of the 4H Grange and FFA projects. The Judge William P. Clark Livestock Center adds a country look to the Fairgrounds and offers exhibitors the facilities they will need to present their animals in a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Stop by to see the farm animals, ask the volunteers and exhibitors questions about livestock, agriculture and the impact it has on our lives.

Amazing Exhibits! Every year we are inspired and impressed by the great exhibits that are on display in Agriculture, Amateur Art, Floriculture, Gems & Minerals, Hobbies & Collections, Home Arts, Horse Shows, Large Livestock, Photography, Professional Art, Small Livestock, Uncle Leo’s Barn and Youth Expo. See what your neighbors and friends have entered in the Fair, or enter your own creations!
