Mono Council for the Arts is parterning with the Town of Mammoth Lakes and the Chamber of Commerce to present a fun 4th of July weekend.

Come see the amazing artwork featured at Mammoth Celebrates the Arts, a juried art show held in the Footloose Sports parking lot July 2, 3, 4 2016.

The show will have a NEW LOOK this year as it is presented by Mono Council for the Arts with 60% new artists! Enjoy a glass of wine or a beer from Mammoth's own Brewing Company while sampling Red's selection of international hot dogs or Cocos Locos Mexican food. Sample Terre selection of sauces, salsas or marmalades or treat yourself to Gilroy Spice's garlic and mustard products.

This FREE event is fun for the whole family. Stilt Theater will perform in the parade beginning at 11am and then entertain during the show on Friday and Saturday. Sonny and Twinkee the clowns will create stunning balloon extravaganzas and offer magic tricks. Or get your kid's faces painted and turn your little girl into a princess with a magic wand.

Stop by Footloose Sports on Friday and Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday from 9am to 5pm. See the artists showcasing hand crafted jewelry, log furniture, hand made clothing, photography, ceramic fountains, pottery, antler art, metal work for the home and garden, paintings and watercolors, homemade bath products, and stained glass.

On display will be trout sculptures from the "Trail of the Trout", Mono Council for the Arts' public art exhibition that will place 2ft. tall and 8ft. tall fiberglass "jumping trout" sculptures along 150 miles of the Eastern Sierra from mid-July until mid-October. Come and pick your favorite one!
