Fandango Days Celebration

The Fandango Days Parade was yet another success for the Alturas Chamber of Commerce as parade-goers lined Main Street to watch the many floats, fire trucks and old classic cars pass by in spectacular colors.

After the parade, everyone headed on down to the Veteran's Memorial Park to take in the many exhibits, food vendors and plenty of smiling faces for the remainder of the day. Some of the exhibits included: A canine demostration provided by the Modoc County Sheriff's Office, a metal sign maker, The Alturas Chamber of Commerce booth (selling Duck Drop Tickets), music provided by "Rogue Radio", a Tri-tip barbeque sponsored by the Alturas Fire Department and much more.
