Celebrating its 8th year, Mammoth Rocks & A Taste of the Sierra will kick-off Friday evening, August 26th at 4pm with live entertainment from local & regional bands. The event re-ignites Saturday August 27 at 2:00pm with more live music and the Taste of the Sierra.

Mammoth Rocks is a music festival featuring some of the worlds best classic rock tribute bands playing homage to the classic rock favorites from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Since 2009 the event has featured nearly 100 incredible bands, many of which have been featured on AXS T.V's Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands and/or are selling out shows all over California and the U.S.

Taste of the Sierra is the culinary component of Mammoth Rocks. 12-17 of the areas hottest restaurant and eatery chefs attend to showcase some of their offerings by providing a wide variety of affordable tastes. The Taste of the Sierra is open to all without a gate fee or admission (just pay for the food you want to sample), making it one of, if not the most popular food tasting event in Mammoth Lakes.
