| Description: | From 38th Annual Christmas In July Fair Website: An annual shopping extravaganza, Christmas in July draws thousands of people each year. Offering handmade arts and craft items (many with Christmas themes) by over 150 artisans, the event also includes a rummage sale, bake sale, food court raffle, kids activity area and live entertainment.
The event dates back to 1977, when the parents and staff of Old Mission Montessori School organized a jams and jellies sale, and has developed into the schools major fundraiser, providing $60,000-80,000 per year to supplement tuition at Mission San Luis Rey Parishs parochial school.
