The Yurok Tribe puts on the annual Salmon Festival to provide an opportunity for the whole community to come together and celebrate the Klamath River. The family-focused event is free and open to all. The festival, which has grown in each of the last three years, typically draws upwards of 3,500 people. The Festival features live music, games for kids and high quality gifts and sweet treats sold by more than a 100 vendors. There is a Classic Car Show, a parade and cultural demonstrations. Indian Card Game and Stick Game Tournaments will be going on throughout the day
