Welcome to the NEW Woodland Celtic Games & Festival

Ceud Mle Filte!!

The organizers of the Celtic Games and Festival have been involved in coordinating and presenting the Woodland Scottish Games for decades. Building on that tradition, we are pleased to announce that we will be adding elements that will include our Irish and Welsh kin to our annual celebration.

We will still have the things you have come to enjoy, the Caber Toss, Highland Dancing, Piping and Drumming, Historic Groups, Entertainers and Vendors, but we will also be including some exiting new elements to add to the fun! We're exploring opportunities for Irish Step Dance and Welsh Clog Dancing and so much more. Keep checking back as we finalize the program for more details.

You will notice our new logo, we think it's great and says it all. The shield has four quarters: the upper left features a Celtic knot tree representing Woodland, our home, the upper right is the Scottish Saltire. The lower left shows the Irish Tricolor, and the Welsh Dragon flag is on the lower right. It clearly says we're in Woodland, and we're all about Scottish, Irish and Welsh history, culture and performing arts.

We are all committed, as we have been over the past 20+ years, to organizing and presenting the finest, most welcoming Games and Festival possible. As always, there will be things to watch, participate in, listen to, dance to, learn from and just to have a great time. You don't have to be Celtic to have a good time at the Woodland Celtic Games and Festival.

We look forward to welcoming you April 28 and 29, 2018, at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland, California.
