Aviation Day at Imperial County Airport Community open house. It was created to improve community awareness of the contribution our airport makes to our quality of life in the Imperial Valley. It began in 2009 and in 2013 was merged with the City of Imperial Market Days event. The goal was to provide even more educational and commercial booths as well as varied entertainment throughout the the day. In 2015 we achieved out best event results to date, flying over 150 children for free and entertaining over 3,000 attendees at the booths and static aircraft displays. Please mark your calendar for the third Saturday in January for the next Aviation Day at Imperial County Airport.
