Description: | From Annual San Diego Tet Festival Website: Tet is the largest celebrated holiday within the Vietnamese culture. It is a 3-day celebration that celebrates the New Year and the beginning of Spring which signifies a fresh start.
The San Diego Tet Festival is the longest running Vietnamese Lunar New Year festival in S.D and attracts more than 20,000 people over the course of the three-day celebration each year. The festival is FREE admission and provides a variety of attraction, activities, games, food and live entertainment, as well as lion dancing, firecrackers and our most popular program, the Miss Vietnam of San Diego pageant.
San Diego Tet Festival is hosted by a non-profit organization, the Vietnamese-American Youth Alliance and their partner, The Vietnamese Federation of San Diego, which has young professionals, high school and college students come together to work hard, and put on the immersive festival for the community.
