From 21st Annual Chumash Day Powwow and Intertribal Gathering Website:

The 21st Annual Chumash Day Powwow will celebrate Native Americans from all over the country, representing hundreds of tribes who will gather at Malibu Bluffs Park.

Native American food, craft vendors, tribal ceremonies, and dances will be a part of the event on both days. This is a non-competitive Powwow.

ADMISSION
Chumash Day will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Powwow is open to all ages. Admission is free. Dogs are allowed, but must remain on a leash and picked-up after.

PARKING
There is no public parking onsite at Malibu Bluffs Park. Parking and shuttle service to and from the event will be available at the corner of Webb Way and Civic Center Way.

Handicap parking spaces are very limited onsite. A handicap-accessible shuttle that can accommodate wheelchairs will be available at the offsite parking lot at Webb Way and Civic Center Way. For assistance or additional information prior to the event, call (***) ***-**** ext. 239.

WEATHER
The Powwow will occur rain or shine. In the event of a serious downpour or other hazardous weather condition, such as lightning and thunder, the event may be stopped for a period of time or cancelled. Cancellations will be reported at (***) ***-****.
