The West Anaheim Neighborhood Development Council (WAND), a non-profit group of dedicated residents working to improve the West Anaheim area, is hosting its 23rd Annual Anaheim Western BBQ at Maxwell Park on April 13, 2019 from 10am to 2pm.

Yee haw! WAND will host a day of family-friendly activities with a wide variety of food options and entertainment. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with your community. There will be opportunity tickets available for amazing prizes, silent auction items, and free cake!. We recruited even more community participation and a larger audience this year than in previous years.

Highlights of the BBQ:

For the Children: We will have pony rides, Pot Bellied pigs, games, activities, the Anaheim book mobile, interactive displays, on stage entertainment including a reptile show!
For the Adults: We will have a Garden Center, and lots of crafters, vendors, food groups, and a variety of community resources.

Live Entertainment: Local school groups will be performing along with a variety of performers on the main stage. We will also have demonstrations from the Anaheim Police Department.

New activities for this year include: A new location and time. Admission is free! Food will be available for purchase as well as lots of shopping opportunities with the various crafters and vendors!
