The FFWP Chamber is in the process of coordinating its 14th Annual Florence-Firestone Festival of which is sponsored by Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas and is presented along Compton Ave. between Florence Ave. and 68th Street. This year the event will take place on May 24, 25, 26 and 27, 2019. The annual family-celebration is a tribute to the Hispanic and African American cultures and the honoring of the Land of Opportunity. Food, Arts and Crafts, and entertainment will join together in celebration of unity. The festival is also designed to give the Florence-Firestone business community a much needed economic boost, also projecting a positive-image of our Downtown and to showcase our district to the thousands of people who annually attend. These objectives are further enhanced with support of Chamber contacts with various media entities.
