Showcasing the work of 85 California artisans, an exceptional variety of fine handicrafts await holiday shoppers at the Carpinteria Valley Museum of History's 38th Annual Holiday Faire held Saturday, November 24 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on the museum grounds at 956 Maple Avenue.

Some of the unique gifts offered for sale include antique silverware wind chimes, country crafts, fine custom jewelry, crochet & knitted hats & scarves, fused & stained glass art, succulent dish gardens, baby & children's gifts, natural soaps & bath oils, and Christmas ornaments, decorations, and wreaths. From ceramics, blown glass, and woodworking to original photography, oil, and watercolor paintings, this year's Faire promises art for everyone's tastes and pocket-book.

The Museum will offer a variety of refreshments, including hot foods and fresh home baked goodies. There will also be live old-fashioned folk music; and children's activities include face-painting and photos and candy canes with Santa Claus!
