Back Roads Productions is happy to present our second year of The Gaia Festival, in beautiful northern Mendocino County. Returning on the first weekend in August (3rd, 4th, & 5th), Gaia Festival will again spread her wings over the lovely land of Black Oak Ranch. We are now assembling a potent lineup of world-class performers and presenters.

Gaia Festival is dedicated to serve a growing community of conscious people who are seeking sustainable ways to negotiate the emerging paradigm. Through workshops and presentations we'll host discussions on topics like environmental stewardship, communal living, plant spirit and psychedelic medicine, shamanism, and spirituality. We'll celebrate north coast culture with food and crafts made by local artists and non-profit organizations, with a focus on organics and sustainably produced products. Our university-trained dishwashing crew in the food court will again cheerfully clean up all vended food plates, cups and flatware. This action, along with our no plastic water bottles and stainless steel beer cups combine to eliminate a significant portion of our waste stream. And we'll once again gather each evening, to be led in song by featured artists, so we may Sing Down the Sun.
